The point of this was to create a surreal and otherworldly look. So, I altered most of the colours to start with. Including the sky which was originally a light blue, which I made into a deep, dark blue. I then reduced the amount of colours to create "banding" as it's apparently called. Most importantly I made the trees look wrong amoungst the sky by editing their colours so the lighting seemed wrong.
I like that so much..... I love the way you changed it so the lighting looks wrong - that's always a good way to create a surreal look..... I think that's why I love street lights so much. They make the ground so unnaturally bright and it looks so strange against the black sky........ Anyways, I just had to make this comment because I've never heard anyone else make that observation......
Bangin. This is the closest thing to what I've imagined a DMT trip will look like. nicely done. I talk to most people about points of interest in the photo and balancing, but this is one that you just gaze at everything for.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
